Some building owners are also required to provide hot water during this time.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> From 6 a.m.-10 p.m. when it\u2019s below 55 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2109<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> outside\u2014heat must be maintained at 68<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2109<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> From 10 p.m.-6 a.m.\u2014heat must be maintained at 62<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2109<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (no outside heat required)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Important: Thermostats that are programmed to shut off automatically are illegal.
